The Ethics Committee of the Fondo Sabadell Inversión Ética y Solidaria, FI selects the projects and the percentages for distribution of the amount corresponding to the part of the management fee accrued by the Fund from 15 July 2024 to 14 July 2025
Support for charitable causes
Sabadell Inversión Ética y Solidaria, FI is an Investment Fund distributed by Banco Sabadell. It invests taking into account business, economic and financial criteria as well as ethical criteria and social and environmental responsibility, in accordance with its ethical ideology.
Sabadell Asset Management is responsible for the management, administration and representation of the Fund, which donates a portion of its management fee on the Fund's assets to charitable causes, in accordance with the provisions of the Fund's prospectus registered with the CNMV. The aid donated to charitable causes will be calculated on the amount actually received as management fee from Sabadell Inversión Ética y Solidaria, FI between 15 July 2024 and 14 July 2025.
These grants for charitable causes will be used to support humanitarian aid and social action projects, particularly in the areas of health, education, food and integration, as well as the construction of infrastructures necessary for the fulfilment of these objectives. The final selection of projects to receive grants is made by the Ethics Committee. The call for applications opened in March and was publicised through Banco Sabadell and the Sabadell Asset Management website. In addition, Fundación Banco Sabadell sent the information to the finalists in the BValue programme and Fundación Lealtad to the more than 275 accredited NGOs. The deadline for submitting applications was 19 April. Fundación Lealtad, in coordination with Sabadell Asset Management and Banco Sabadell, held two free informative webinars, open to any entity, during which the Bases and the Form were explained in detail and any doubts raised by the attendees were answered. They were held on 3 and 12 April and a total of around 160 social organisations registered.
As in previous editions, in the process of designing and managing the call, Sabadell Asset Management has had the support of Fundación Lealtad, which acts as Technical Secretariat. The Technical Secretariat has participated in the review and updating of the Rules and Form, and has answered the doubts of the social entities while the call was open. Once the applications were received, the Technical Secretariat carried out a quantitative and qualitative evaluation.
